On 12 February, S&P Global officially published the Sustainability Yearbook 2025. China Overseas Land and Investment Limited (referred to as “COLI” or “the Company”) has been included in the Yearbook for its outstanding sustainability efforts, marking its debut appearance. COLI proudly stands as the sole Chinese real estate firm to secure this recognition, underscoring its prominent position in ESG practices.

S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is one of the world’s most authoritative and indicative ESG assessments. The evaluation and selection process was rigorous and highly competitive. The Yearbook draws upon the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), which comprehensively evaluates companies across Environmental, Social and Governance dimensions. Companies with a CSA Score of at least 30, ranking within 15% of the industry’s top-performing companies by number would be selected. The Sustainability Yearbook 2025 considered over 7,690 companies across 62 industries assessed in 2024 CSA. Only 780 companies secured inclusion in this year’s Yearbook. Notably, COLI was included for the first time, emerging as the sole mainland developer selected. Additionally, COLI ranked at the top among Chinese mainland peers with its leading CSA score, illustrating the Company’s exceptional performance in ESG management.

Looking ahead, COLI will adhere to its sustainability philosophy of “a Company of Four Excellences”, continue to enhance the Company’s ESG performance, proactively embrace and fulfill corporate social responsibility, work closely with stakeholders to create long-term sustainable value, and promote high-quality development among the industry.
