Recently, China Overseas Group and China Overseas Land & Investment jointly organized the "Strive and Rise Programme"—the "Embracing Inclusivity" Hong Kong Youth Greater Bay Area Exchange Tour. This distinctive event aims to provide Hong Kong youth with a forward-looking platform for technological exploration and exchange, allowing them to experience innovative technologies in the construction industry firsthand and inspire their thoughts on future development directions. It is also hoped that through this exchange tour, Hong Kong youth will deepen their understanding of the country's development and the Greater Bay Area construction, fostering a sense of patriotism and contributing their youthful strength to the integration of Hong Kong into the national development landscape.

Nearly 70 participants, including students and mentors, embarked on a visit to Zhuhai as part of the "Embracing Inclusivity" Hong Kong Youth Greater Bay Area Exchange Tour. The first stop of the tour was the China Overseas Group’s China Construction Hailong Technology base in Zhuhai, where they learned about future-oriented new construction methods and the full industry chain solutions. They gained in-depth insights into China Overseas' over 30 years of dedicated development and technological innovation in modular construction, smart manufacturing, and assembly construction, as well as mature cases and application prospects.

The exchange group then visited the famous large urban complex—Fuhua Plaza—located in the center of Zhuhai, gaining insights into the operation and design concepts of commercial projects. Within this 240,000-square-meter urban center, the group toured the landmark twin-tower office buildings, a Fortune Global 500 international brand hotel, and nearly 50,000 square meters of international commercial district, blending learning with enjoyment and broadening their horizons. Subsequently, the group visited the Zhuhai Space Center to learn about the achievements in national aerospace, aviation, and defense industries, experiencing various high-tech interactive projects.

Participants expressed that during their visit to the China Construction Hailong Technology base, they gained a more detailed understanding of the construction industry, particularly benefiting from insights into modular construction technology, which greatly expanded their perspectives. At Fuhua Plaza, participants expressed genuine admiration for this grand urban complex that integrates commercial, residential, and hotel functions, gaining a deeper appreciation for the unique charm of urban construction in the Greater Bay Area. Mentors also fostered deep friendships through close interactions with the students, helping them develop a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the Greater Bay Area's development.

Since the Hong Kong SAR Government launched the "Strive and Rise Programme" in August 2022, China Overseas Group has actively responded and enthusiastically participated, sending over 100 mentors in total and becoming a strategic partner of the Cooperative Partner Committee for two consecutive phases. The group was also awarded a certificate of appreciation from the Hong Kong SAR Government for its contributions to the "Strive and Rise Programme."

When youth thrive, so does Hong Kong; when youth develop, so does Hong Kong; when youth have a future, so does Hong Kong. China Overseas will fully leverage the resource advantages of both regions, continuing to organize a series of branded activities that connect youth from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, inspiring them to cultivate a sense of patriotism as they pursue their dreams, and contributing their youthful strength to the better integration of Hong Kong and Macao into the national development landscape.
